AN ACT Relating to unfair practices by residential landlords and tenants; and adding a new section to chapter 59.18 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 59.18 RCW to read as follows:

          Any violation of this chapter which is an unfair and deceptive act or practice in the conduct of any trade or commerce is a violation under the provisions of RCW 19.86.020.
