AN ACT Relating to meetings of boards of county commissioners; and amending RCW 36.32.080 and 36.32.090.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

        Sec. 1.  Section 36.32.080, chapter 4, Laws of 1963 and RCW 36.32.080 are each amended to read as follows:

          The board of county commissioners shall hold regular sessions at the county ((seat commencing on the first Mondays of January, April, July and October)) courthouse on at least two separate days in every month, at each of which it may transact any business required or permitted by law, and it may adjourn from time to time as deemed expedient or desirable in order to properly transact the business of the county.

 

        Sec. 2.  Section 36.32.090, chapter 4, Laws of 1963 and RCW 36.32.090 are each amended to read as follows:

          The board of county commissioners may hold special sessions to transact any business required or permitted by law when the business of the county requires the same ((by ten days' notice from two of the commissioners to the third, or by the written consent of the three commissioners filed with the county auditor.  No special session shall exceed three days.   The notice thereof shall state the time of holding the session and the business to be transacted)) , as provided in RCW 42.30.080 for the calling of special meetings.  A special session may be held outside of the courthouse at any location within the county.
