AN ACT Relating to weights and measures; and amending RCW 19.94.410.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 41, chapter 67, Laws of 1969 and RCW 19.94.410 are each amended to read as follows:

          Butter, oleomargarine and margarine shall be offered and exposed for sale and sold by weight and only in units of one-quarter pound, one-half pound, one pound or multiples of one pound, avoirdupois weight.  The director may allow the sale of nonstandard butter speciality products used for decorative purposes, when clearly labeled as to weight and price per pound.
