AN ACT Relating to following hazardous waste management priorities; and adding a new section to chapter 70.105 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 70.105 RCW to read as follows:

          After July 1, 1988, the management priorities established in RCW 70.105.150 shall be followed unless an exemption is granted by the department.  Prior to July 1, 1988, the department shall adopt rules to establish criteria for exemptions if an unreasonable economic burden is demonstrated.
