AN ACT Relating to the state lottery account; and adding a new section to chapter 67.70 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

          NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 67.70 RCW to read as follows:

          No funds may be expended from the lottery administrative account to provide food, refreshments, entertainment, or any cash or in-kind gratuity except as provided in RCW 43.03.050.  Expenditures for promotion of lottery games and game-related services shall not include expenditures to provide food, refreshments, entertainment, or any cash or in-kind gratuity.  Lottery prize winners shall receive only the lottery prize award and shall not be provided with food, refreshments, entertainment, or any other cash or in-kind gratuity from public funds.
