AN ACT Relating to claims for prophylaxis services; and adding a new section to chapter 48.80 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 48.80 RCW to read as follows:

          A claim for oral prophylaxis services that are not performed by a dental hygienist licensed under chapter 18.29 RCW or a dentist under chapter 18.32 RCW is a deceptive claim under this chapter.
