                              SYNOPSIS AS ENACTED

 

BACKGROUND:

 

County auditors are required to record at no expense the honorable discharge papers of any veteran who was a resident of the county at the time of his enlistment or induction into the armed forces of the United States.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The requirement for county auditors to record at no expense the honorable discharge papers of veterans who resided in the county at the time of enlistment or induction is altered to require the recording at no expense of any discharge of any veteran who is residing in the state of Washington.
