BACKGROUND:

A Class P liquor license allows the sale and delivery of wine to persons other than the person placing the order.  Businesses eligible for the license are those solely engaged in the delivery of gifts or the sale of flowers or floral arrangements at retail. Businesses which also sell gifts "over the counter" are not eligible for the license.

SUMMARY:

The businesses eligible for the Class P liquor license are expanded to include those engaged in the sale of gifts, as well as those which sell and deliver gifts.
