BACKGROUND:

 

Candidates for public office must file declarations of candidacy.  Declarations of candidacy for precinct committee officer are similar to those required for other offices; it is suggested that a shorter form be specified.

 

SUMMARY:

 

A shorter form is specified for declarations of candidacy for precinct committee officer.  The declaration of candidacy is made gender-neutral.
