BACKGROUND:

 

Since July 1, 1989, real property lenders and construction contractors have been required to give informational materials on construction lien laws to their customers.  The master document for the informational material is prepared by the Department of Labor and Industries.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Department of Labor and Industries is authorized to prepare more than one master document for the informational materials on construction lien laws.
