BACKGROUND:

In 1988 the Legislature passed an act to assist in efforts at diversifying the economy in the Tri-Cities area.  The expiration date was set for July 1, 1990.

SUMMARY:

The expiration date for the Tri-Cities diversification efforts carried out by the state pursuant to Section 1 through 12 of Chapter 42, Laws of 1988, is extended to July 1, 1991.
