BACKGROUND:

 

Currently, a business directly involved in a labor dispute may not bring in persons from out of state to be hired or recruited to take the place of striking or locked out workers.  These provisions do not apply to activities and services offered by or through the Employment Security Department.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Employment Security Department's exemption from prohibited employment practices is removed.
