BACKGROUND:

 

The Wildlife Commission may pay claims for damages caused by deer and elk up to a ceiling level of $2,000.  This level has not been changed since 1986 when it was increased from $1,000 to $2,000.

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Wildlife Commission may pay wildlife damage claims up to a maximum of $10,000.
