BACKGROUND:

 

The Legislature enacts biennial appropriations for the capital construction needs of state agencies and institutions.

 

SUMMARY:

 

A supplemental Capital Appropriations Act for the 1989-91 fiscal biennium is adopted.

 

 

EFFECT OF PROPOSED SUBSTITUTE:

 

Various appropriations are modified.

 

Appropriation:    $438,700,000 (from various sources)

 

Revenue:    none

 

Fiscal Note:      none requested

 

Effective Date:The bill contains an emergency clause and takes effect immediately.
