AS PASSED SENATE, FEBRUARY 7, 1990
BACKGROUND:
During the 1989 session, the Legislature passed a bill directing the Employment Security Department, the Department of Labor and Industries, the Department of Licensing, and the Department of Revenue to develop a plan to implement a voluntary combined reporting system for agricultural employers by January 1, 1991.
After working on the issue, all parties agree that extra time is needed to properly develop and test a system.
SUMMARY:
The voluntary combined reporting system for agricultural employers must be implemented by January 1, 1992.
