AN ACT Relating to the declaration of candidacy for precinct committee officer; and amending RCW 29.18.031.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 2, chapter 133, Laws of 1987 and RCW 29.18.031 are each amended to read as follows:

          Each candidate who desires to have his or her name printed on the ballot at ((a primary, a special election, or)) a general election for the office of precinct ((committeeman)) committee officer shall execute and file a declaration of candidacy in substantially the following form:
