AN ACT Relating to trucks stopped in roadways; and adding a new section to chapter 46.61 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

          NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.61 RCW to read as follows:

          The driver of a truck stopped in the roadway while loading or unloading or making deliveries shall place flares, reflective markers, or other warning devices in the roadway sufficient to warn approaching traffic of the obstruction or cause another person with a warning flag to warn approaching traffic of the obstruction.
