AN ACT Relating to rating standards for medicare supplemental health insurance; and adding a new section to chapter 48.66 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 48.66 RCW to read as follows:

          The rate structure of medicare supplemental health insurance issued under this chapter shall be determined on a community basis, and age shall not be a factor when rating an individual applicant.
