AN ACT Relating to tow truck fees; and adding a new section to chapter 46.55 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.55 RCW to read as follows:

          A registered tow truck operator who impounds a vehicle under RCW 46.55.080 or 46.55.085 may charge tow truck service fees for such an impound only on an hourly basis.  The hourly fee for such tow truck service shall not exceed fifty dollars.
