AN ACT Relating to drivers' licenses; and amending RCW 46.20.114.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

        Sec. 1.  Section 2, chapter 27, Laws of 1977 ex. sess. and RCW 46.20.114 are each amended to read as follows:

          On and after January 1, 1978, the department shall implement and use such process or processes in the preparation and issuance of drivers' licenses and identicards that prohibit as nearly as possible the alteration or reproduction of such cards, or the superimposing of other photographs on such cards, without ready detection and shall process and issue drivers' licenses and identicards from a central location for additional security.
