AN ACT Relating to motor freight carriers handling goods in interstate commerce; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     The department of revenue and the utilities and transportation commission are hereby directed to study the issues surrounding the definitions of interstate commerce for purposes of taxation and for the purposes of transportation and make recommendations relating to resolving the differences to the legislature by October 1, 1990.
