AN ACT Relating to motor freight carriers handling goods in interstate commerce; and adding a new section to chapter 81.80 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 81.80 RCW to read as follows:

          For the purposes of this chapter, goods are considered to be in interstate commerce when a carrier delivers the goods to the buyer at a destination outside this state or to the buyer aboard the buyer's vessel or at shipside when the ship's gear attaches to the goods.
