AN ACT Relating to commissioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation; and amending RCW 43.56.010.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

        Sec. 1.  Section 43.56.010, chapter 8, Laws of 1965 and RCW 43.56.010 are each amended to read as follows:

          The governor shall appoint three suitable persons as a board of commissioners for the promotion of uniformity of legislation in the United States.  Any vacancy on the board shall be filled by appointment by the governor.  In addition, any person achieving life member status in the national conference of commissioners on uniform state laws through service of twenty years, while representing this state, shall be an ex officio member.
