AN ACT Relating to rule adoption by the medical examining board; and adding a new section to chapter 18.71 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 18.71 RCW to read as follows:
The Washington state board of medical examiners shall adopt rules governing unlicensed persons acting as surgical assistants under the direct supervision of a licensed surgeon.
