AN ACT Relating to communications with minors; adding a new section to chapter 26.28 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 26.28 RCW to read as follows:

          A member of a private organization shall not communicate with a minor at the residence of a parent or guardian if the parent or guardian has requested in writing that members of the organization not communicate with the minor without the parent's or guardian's permission.  Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor.
