AN ACT Relating to solid waste facilities and services procurement by Clark county; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     Section 19, chapter 282, Laws of 1986, codified as RCW 36.58.090, established a procedure by which a county could enter into contracts for the design, construction, or operation of systems and plants for handling solid wastes.  Clark county utilization during 1988-1989 of such process to select a vendor for solid waste transfer, recycling, transportation, and landfilling is hereby ratified.
