AN ACT Relating to weight, height, and length exemptions for tow trucks operated by registered tow truck operators; and adding a new section to chapter 46.44 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.44 RCW to read as follows:

          The limitations of RCW 46.44.010, 46.44.020, 46.44.030, 46.44.034, 46.44.041, 46.44.042, 46.44.050, and 46.44.080 do not apply to the movement of a tow truck, as defined in RCW 46.55.010, if the tow truck is performing the initial tow truck service, as defined in RCW 46.55.010, regardless of the destination, for a vehicle disabled on the public streets and highways of this state.
