AN ACT Relating to capital appropriations for the U.S.S. Turner Joy; adding a new section to chapter 12, Laws of 1989 1st ex. sess. (uncodified); making an appropriation; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 12, Laws of 1989 1st ex. sess. (uncodified) to read as follows:

          FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

          Transporting the U.S.S. Turner Joy to the Bremerton ferry terminal

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.     This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect immediately.
