AN ACT Relating to prevailing wage determinations; and adding a new section to chapter 39.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 39.12 RCW to read as follows:

          The industrial statistician of the department of labor and industries, when calculating the prevailing rate of wage, may not include any public works project in which laborers, workers, or mechanics are paid the state prevailing rate of wage.
