AN ACT Relating to appropriations for projects recommended by the public works board; creating a new section; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.     Pursuant to chapter 43.155 RCW, emergency public works project loans are authorized to be made with funds previously appropriated from the public works assistance account in an amount not to exceed one million dollars.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.     This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect immediately.
