AN ACT Relating to tax revenue limitations; and adding a new section to chapter 43.135 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.135 RCW to read as follows:

          (1) The legislature shall fully fund every state-mandated program in compliance with Initiative 62 and chapter 43.135 RCW.

          (2) The legislature shall not place a fiscal burden on the political subdivisions of this state by mandating services without the necessary funding.
