AN ACT Relating to employment agencies; and adding a new section to chapter 19.31 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 19.31 RCW to read as follows:

          The director may grant, upon payment of the current registration fee in an amount as determined by the director as provided in RCW 43.24.086, a license to conduct an employment agency to any applicant who is licensed to conduct an employment agency in any other state or country whose requirements for licensing and approval of contracts and fee schedules are at least substantially equivalent to the requirements of this state for licensing and approval, and which extends the same privileges of reciprocity to employment agencies licensed in this state.
