AN ACT Relating to district courts; and adding a new section to chapter 3.34 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 3.34 RCW to read as follows:

          If a county has more than one district court district, the supreme court may by rule provide for the manner of selection of one of the judges to serve as presiding judge over all district court judges in the county and prescribe the presiding judge's duties.
