AN ACT Relating to the governor's appointees to boards and commissions; and adding a new section to chapter 43.03 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.03 RCW to read as follows:

          A gubernatorial appointee to a board or commission under RCW 43.03.220 through 43.03.250 must be a Washington state resident at the time of appointment and during the term of service.
