AN ACT Relating to liability for food donation; and adding a new section to chapter 69.80 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 69.80 RCW to read as follows:

          (1) The board of health and department of health shall prepare material explaining the provisions of this chapter for distribution to food service establishments.

          (2) Local health districts shall provide all food service operators under their jurisdiction with the material prepared under subsection (1) of this section.  The material shall be distributed at the time of inspections of food service establishments.
