AN ACT Relating to commercial fishing licenses; amending RCW 75.28.255; and adding a new section to chapter 75.28 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 75.28 RCW to read as follows:

          For the purchase of licenses under RCW 75.28.095, 75.28.110, and 75.28.255, a resident of another state shall be charged resident fees if that person's state of residence allows Washington residents to purchase similar licenses at resident fees.

        Sec. 2.  Section 5, chapter 212, Laws of 1955 as last amended by section 11, chapter 316, Laws of 1989 and RCW 75.28.255 are each amended to read as follows:

          The following commercial fishing licenses are required for the licensee to fish for the specified species in state waters with gear authorized by rule of the director.  Unless adjusted by the director pursuant to the director's authority granted in RCW 75.28.065, the annual license fees are:
