AN ACT Relating to white sturgeon; and adding a new section to chapter 75.12 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 75.12 RCW to read as follows:

          The director shall prohibit a targeted commercial catch of white sturgeon by bottom trawling gear in Pacific Ocean waters and other coastal waters within state jurisdiction.
