(1) A transportation network company must adopt a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, families with children, creed, religious belief or affiliation, sex, marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, age, honorably discharged veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or gender identity, the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability, or any other protected class under RCW
49.60.010, with respect to passengers and potential passengers and notify drivers of such policy.
(2) A driver must comply with all applicable laws regarding nondiscrimination against transportation network company riders or potential riders on the basis of race, color, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, families with children, creed, religious belief or affiliation, sex, marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, age, honorably discharged veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or gender identity, or any other protected class under RCW
49.60.010.
(3) A driver must comply with all applicable laws relating to the transportation of service animals.
(4) A transportation network company may not impose additional charges for providing services to persons with disabilities because of those disabilities.
