The on-product marking requirements under this chapter, including the logo, coloring, and wording requirements of RCW
70A.455.040(2)(b), do not apply to paper-based sheets that are intended for use in the cooking process. The exemption from the requirements of this chapter does not apply to requirements other than marking requirements. Labeling consistent with the requirements of RCW
70A.455.020(2)(b) must be included on the packaging for any paper-based sheets that are exempted under this section.
