Who is eligible to participate in the salary reduction plan?

School employees eligible for the employer contribution toward school employees benefits board (SEBB) benefits are eligible to participate in the premium payment plan under the state's salary reduction plan. School employees eligible for SEBB benefits as described in WAC 182-31-040 may also elect to participate in the medical FSA, limited purpose FSA, or DCAP programs provided they elect participation within the time frames described in WAC 182-30-100.

Who is eligible to participate in the salary reduction plan?

(1) School employees eligible for the employer contribution toward school employees benefits board (SEBB) benefits are eligible to participate in the premium payment plan under the state's salary reduction plan. School employees eligible for SEBB benefits as described in WAC 182-31-040 may also elect to participate in the FSA, limited purpose FSA, or DCAP programs provided they elect participation within the time frames described in WAC 182-30-100.
(2) School employees of employer groups, as defined in WAC 182-31-020, are not eligible to participate in the state's salary reduction plan.
