Hospital safety net program (HSNP)—Purpose.

Chapter 74.60 RCW establishes the hospital safety net program (HSNP). The HSNP provides funding that is used solely to increase funding from all other sources and support additional payments to hospitals as authorized by chapter 74.60 RCW. The medicaid agency has authority to issue rules associated with the HSNP under RCW 41.05.021 (1)(m)(iv) and 74.60.050(1).
