A school district or private school may appeal a notice of revocation; however, the appeal must be filed with the department in writing within thirty days of its receipt. The written appeal must be sent to the department according to the procedures established by RCW 49.12.161 and 49.12.400. Filing an appeal does not set aside a notice of revocation.
