Under the Family and Medical Leave Act, can an employee request an intermittent or reduced schedule?
Employee absence granted for the purpose of WAC 357-31-525 (1)(a) and (b) must be granted on an intermittent or reduced schedule at the employee's request when medically necessary. Employee absence granted for the purpose of WAC 357-31-525(2) must also be granted on an intermittent or reduced schedule at the employee's request.
