Tariffs, changes must be identified.

Each change in rates, charges, or rules must be clearly identified by using one of the following methods:
(1) By printing the appropriate code symbol immediately to the left of the material being changed. Approved symbols are:
Code Symbol
Used to indicate:
(R)
reductions in rates or charges
(A)
increases in rates or charges
(C)
changes resulting in neither increases nor decreases
(N)
new rates, services or rules
(2) By printing a notice in distinctive type at the location defined in the following table:
