No disabled or inoperative vehicle shall be parked on college property for a period in excess of twenty-four hours, unless permission is granted by the security/safety office. Vehicles which have been parked in excess of twenty-four hours may be impounded and stored at the expense of either or both the owner or operator thereof. Notice of intent to impound will be posted on the vehicle at least twenty-four hours prior to impoundment unless a vehicle is illegally or hazardously parked. Neither the college nor college employees shall be responsible for claims, loss or damage of any kind resulting from such impounding and storage.
Vehicles under repair in the college's instructional program must be parked in a designated area and must have an approved "vehicle in repair" notice visibly posted within the vehicle. This includes vehicles upon which service has been completed and which are awaiting pick up by the owners.
