School employees benefits board (SEBB) organizations must pay the employer contributions to the health care authority (HCA) for SEBB benefits coverage for all eligible school employees and their dependents.
(1) Employer contributions are set by the HCA, and are subject to the approval of the governor for availability of funds as specifically appropriated by the legislature for that purpose. The employer contribution for school employees eligible under RCW
41.05.740 (6)(e) are set by the HCA.
(2) Employer contributions must include an amount determined by the HCA to pay administrative costs to administer SEBB benefits coverage for school employees.
(3) Eligible school employee of a SEBB organization on leave under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is eligible for the employer contribution as described in WAC
182-31-110.
(4) The entire employer contribution is due and payable to HCA even if SEBB medical is waived as described in WAC
182-31-080, except for school employees eligible under WAC
182-30-130.
