Location and placement of handwashing sinks (2009 FDA Food Code 5-204.11).

A handwashing sink must be located:
(1) To allow convenient use by employees;
(2) Within 25 feet of food preparation, food dispensing, and warewashing areas; and
(3) In, or immediately adjacent to, toilet rooms.
