An insurer shall not unfairly discriminate between insureds with different qualifying events covered under the policy or rider. An insurer may not unfairly discriminate between insureds with similar or identical qualifying events covered under the policy or rider. Insurers may not apply conditions on the payment of the accelerated benefits except those specified in the insured's policy or rider.
