Groups of elevators containing four or more cars may be provided with two three-position key switches per group. For purposes of this section, a group shall be defined as all elevators serving the same portion of a building. Hall call buttons common to a group will remain in service unless both Phase I recall switches of a four car or larger group are placed in the recall mode or a fire alarm recall signal is initiated.
