To be considered for a Washington state honors award, a student must be enrolled in at least three of the academic core subjects of English, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and languages other than English during the senior year. The minimum enrollment requirement shall be verified in writing by the participating high school principal on forms provided annually by the superintendent of public instruction.
